A sustainable tourism application has been sent off for guests investigating North Devon.
North Devon UNESCO Biosphere sent off the North Devon Explorer to help “lessen pressure” on its well known areas of interest.
It will give constant data on gridlock and climate, spreading “guest burden and economy”.
Biosphere administration facilitator Andy Bell said it would assist guests with getting to “a scope of encounters”.
“With state-of-the-art climate and traffic data, they can keep away from occupied problem areas and get greater delight by associating with our magnificent climate and culture,” he said.
The company said its app would allow visitors to:
Discover a range of activities such as walk and cycle trails, nature reserves and wildlife
Find the nearest visitor information centre
View weather information in a chosen location
Check tide and coastal points
Locate electric vehicle charging points
View real time traffic congestion information
