Tourism on Long Island

Long Island is one of the Bahamas, which has many natural attractions. In addition to its isolation, which gives you the perfect atmosphere to spend the most enjoyable times ever.

Bimini is one of the most popular places to visit in the Bahamas. It is located in the westernmost part of the Bahamas, known for its luxury resorts and water activities. It is known as the “Big Game of Fishing in the Bahamas” or “Deep Sea Fishing Capital of the World” because it hosts deep sea fishing tournaments as well as allows you to dive and snorkel.

The main fun activities that you can practice in Bimini, is the practice of deep sea fishing around the crystal blue waters of the island, as well as snorkeling, diving and boating, and a chance to swim with the shy hammerhead sharks that congregate on the coast of Bimini during the month of February.
This is in addition to exploring a number of shipwrecks scattered all over the island, including the wreck of the SS Sabona, which ran aground during a hurricane in 1926. In addition to enjoying the wonderful local nightlife in the many restaurants and cafes on the island. You can also take a bike tour across the island, climb Mount Alvernia at 206 feet, and attend the annual Music Festival, to celebrate the island’s vibrant musical heritage.

You can drink tap water directly, it is safe and clean. And in case you want to buy bottled mineral water, they are scattered in all stores everywhere.

Where employees usually expect a tip in the Bahamas, tip is usually around 15%.
